Action is the consequence of intense feeling followed by repeated thoughts as an indicator of life driven by prana. Continuity, dignity and divinity of the action determine one’s self-image and social profile. The actions undertaken for collective welfare by nullifying selfish motives rectify psychic impressions/accumulations that lead to recycling births, longevity and worldly pros and cons. Such action is called “niskam karma” in yoga system. The fragrance of divine action spreads in all directions by creating thousand times more influence compared to speech. Conversely, inactive person becomes burden for self and others. Life is for faithful discharging of virtuous actions as worship. Public respect, self-satisfaction and divine grace are automatic outcomes of the divine actions.
